A general aviation airport should cater to the needs of the general aviation pilot. With the facilities we have, we can do just that. We are not set up to run an airline, and don't intend to. General aviation is the heart of flying and here at London-Corbin Airport we feel it should stay that way!
London-Corbin Airport was established in the current terminal building during the early 1970's. Prior to that, a terminal stood across the field to the north of the runway. A Flight Service Station stood on the field until all the FSS were consolidated. Now, the facilities have grown to be much more than they were back then and development has led London-Corbin Airport to be in the top 5 largest/busiest general aviation airports in Kentucky.
